NENANA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL

Nenana City Public School is a great place to learn. The students are among the happiest I have worked with during my forty years as an educator. They are a joy to be around. The teachers and support staff are enthusiastic and forward thinking. We are currently engaged in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) initiative, a problem solving, project based approach to instruction. This initiative is a way of thinking that I believe will bring the education of all NCPS students, be they from Nenana or remote villages, to a higher level. As well as a strong academic program, Nenana is proud of its Lynx mascot as well as the sports, activity and music programs it represents.
